If you want us to promote your film in the latest submission section, it is essential that you provide either some stills and or a promotional clip of your film. If you do not supply us with either a clip or stills we can not, included it on our website. When submitting your film please can you add the clip and stills to a separate CD or DVD in addition to the two dvd's you submit to us.

Please remember to enclose a 60 second clip or production stills with your short synopsis so that we can give your public a taste of what's to come!

And please remember that you need to send 2 DVD copies of each of your films submitted to the festival.

Ryde International Film Festival is pleased to show case some of our latest film submissions. The information provides the film genre, the film tile, who produced and directed the film and a short synopsis of the film. Ryde International Film Festival team hope that this will whet your appetite

  Documentary So What Does your MP Do? Claude Green Before the expenses scandle blew up, in which British members of Parliment replaced investment bankers as hate figures in the eyes of the public, a liberal democrat Mp, Ed Davey, agreed to take part in a documentary that would explore the question of what an MP actually does. With unpresedented access, it is the first film to give a real flavour of the extraordinary range of problems that MP's encounter at their constituency surgery advice sessions and the issues they have to grapple with as "representatives of the people". Amid st stories of bureaucratic delays and mistakes that are almost Kafkaesque in their complexity, there are fortunately some humorous ones as well.

Still from Walter and the Tigers Campaign Documentary Walter and the Tigers Jason Perryman Freediving with Tiger Sharks in South Africa with Walter Bernardis, an expert diver on these animals. Throughout the scuba dives we see that Tigers are not as aggressive or dangerous as we think, but also investigates the Tigers' behaviour more thoroughly. We're left with a feeling of safety and affection for them. But in the 2nd half, we see these Sharks killed in the local beach nets of the Natal Sharks Board, and their dissections in front of an audience by this organization. We see the damage done to the Tiger Shark population and other Sharks and marine species too. Tigers are not a danger to humans, the humans are a danger to the Tigers – and it’s humans like Walter that can save them.

Holly, Jack's girlfriend, begins to grown concerned by Jack's odd behaviour, and suspicious of the minicom with which he spends all his time.

Four deaf poker players are waiting for the dealer to arrive for their usual poker game. However a mysterious deaf stranger, Luc, arrives to take the usual dealer's place. Luc appears to judge each player in turn, and has an uncanny ability for poker, which has him winning every hand. The players start to suspect that Luc is not a normal person.
