Ryde International Film Festival Isle of Wight

Based in Ryde, Isle of Wight, on the south coast of England. This is the first International Film Festival to be held on the Island. With its fantastic golden sands and town on the beach. We aim to become one of the UK’s and internationally sought after film festivals.

So, we are open to anyone out there, who has made a film, thought of making a film, or is in the process of making a film. To send your entries to us use the withoutabox link or post them to us directly.

Films can be up to five years old and with over 20 categories to choose from, there is no excuse for anyone to say they can’t have a go.

If it’s in your wardrobe or under your bed, dust it down and send it off to us and we will show it on one of our big screens on the beach, or at the traditional Commodore Theatre in the centre of town.

Looking forward to seeing you and your films on the beach in September – don’t forget your swimming costume!!!!!

Mission Statement

The aim of the Ryde International Film Festival Isle of Wight is to encourage creativity in all aspects of film production, not dependant on financial and physical restrictions, gender, geographical location, age or ability. We acknowledge and encourage film making through diversity.
